How Do I Clone Proposals and Opportunities

If an opportunity/proposal is lost once, it may not be lost for good. Cloning gives you the opportunity to update multiple opportunities/proposals when you start a new sales campaign. The sales campaign does not have to be a special offer, it could simply be a new bidding season for your industry.
Hint: Users of the program have found it helpful to Clone Opportunities with the Clone Proposals option selected so that each new cloned proposal has a new corresponding Opportunity assigned to the person that will be responsible for the follow-up assigned.
IMPORTANT: As part of Nediso's suggested Sales process, all proposals should be linked to an opportunity. When cloning, be careful to always clone either only proposals or only opportunities with Clone proposals selected to avoid creating duplicates that will unnecessarily clutter your data and making your reporting inaccurate. You may also clone opportunities and proposals separately; but, it requires more steps.
NOTES: - To avoid confusion later, consider naming the opportunities the same as the sales campaign.
- If you wish to only clone proposals or opportunities with a specific detail, search by that detail to narrow down the list.
- All cloned proposals are automatically flagged to be added to the To be printed list.
To Clone Multiple Opportunities - From the Sales menu, select Clone Opportunities
- Complete the form provided according to the changes you wish to make to the cloned Opportunities
 - Click Next
- Select opportunities to be cloned by clicking the checkbox at the beginning of the item’s row
- Click Clone Opportunities
- If more than one page of opportunities, navigate to each page and repeat 4 and 5 until all desired proposals from all pages have been selected
To Clone Multiple Proposals
NOTE: Remember, if you opted to clone proposals when cloning opportunities, all proposals connected to the selected opportunities were also cloned.
- From the Sales menu, select Clone Proposals
- Complete the form provided according to the changes you wish to make to the cloned proposals
 - Click
 - Select proposals to be cloned by clicking the checkbox at the beginning of the item’s row
- Click
 - If more than one page of proposals, navigate to each page and repeat 4 and 5 until all desired proposals from all pages have been selected
